Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Dermatologist to join our healthcare team! As a Dermatologist at our clinic, you will be responsible for accessing patients' skin health. You will be the main person responsible for treating skin diseases, recommencing treatments and giving skin health advice to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete initial history and physical assessment, and evaluation of new patients
  • Complete semi-annual and annual assessment of patients
  • Complete reassessment of established patient after a significant change in the patient's health status
  • Consults and refers with/to appropriate “Specialty Physicians”
  • Analyze the results from diagnostic skin tests
  • Advice on skin health tips and best practices
  • Evaluate patients before major surgical or other medical procedures
  • Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose the medical condition of a patient.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results.
  • Ensures documentation is recorded in a complete, timely and orderly manner, utilizing templates in the electronic medical record.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of patient's medical condition and provides treatment
  • Order prescription medications and diagnostic procedures
  • Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A Doctor of Medicine (MD) is required.
  • Three years post graduate experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Must have an active medical license in New York.
  • Board Certification in Dermatology required

Salary: $300,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
