A full-service dermatology practice in Avon, CT is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Mohs Surgeon to join its outpatient team and lead the development of a brand-new Mohs surgery program!
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a busy referral network with the infrastructure and patient volume needed to quickly establish a high-performing surgical practice. You’ll work alongside general dermatologists, advanced practice providers, and a facial & oculoplastic surgeon in a collaborative setting that prioritizes outcomes, innovation, and coordinated care. A new, dedicated Mohs lab is now open in a modern facility in one of Connecticut’s most desirable suburbs. Mentorship and training are available for new graduates.

Your Role as a Mohs Surgeon:

Perform Mohs Surgery – Diagnose and treat skin cancers using precise micrographic techniques.

Lead Surgical Services – Develop and grow the Mohs program within a high-demand environment.

Conduct Reconstructive Procedures – Perform closures, grafts, and flaps as appropriate.

Collaborate with Dermatology Team – Coordinate care with general dermatologists and procedural specialists.

Deliver Exceptional Patient Experience – Ensure seamless care from consult through follow-up.
Qualifications:

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible – Dermatology

Fellowship-Trained in Mohs Surgery – ACMS preferred

Eligible for Connecticut Medical License – Must obtain prior to start

DEA License Required – Active or eligible
