Critical Care Locums needed in Houston, TX (The Woodlands area)
Need Nocturnist coverage starting January 1st, 2016. 7pm-7am
This will be an ongoing need for at least 6 months to 1 year.
Preference is for candidates who can work 3-7 shift blocks.
Currently have 9 providers who rotate between inpatient and outpatient coverage.
Full specialty backup.
Solo Night coverage for 24 bed ICU. Average of 0-2 admits per night. This is a level II trauma facility, but there are dedicated physicians to cover trauma patients.
Need to be comfortable with procedures. Intubation, arterial lines and central lines. Vent management is a plus but not required.
18-19 is the daily patient census for the past six months. Licensed for 24 beds (12 MICU, 12 SICU).
Credentialing usually takes 60-90 days but they are willing to fast track since they need help starting in January.
Client will cover full travel to candidates that can provide significant blocks of availability.
