• We are seeking a Board-Certified Critical Care Physician for a PRN locum opportunity in Salem, MA.
• This role focuses on night and weekend coverage in a 20-bed ICU with a stable patient census.
• Work alongside internal medicine residents, primarily supervising care while stepping in for procedures when needed.
• Ideal for local providers looking for flexible, supplemental shifts with no call responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise internal medicine residents and oversee patient care plans
• Perform procedures when required based on staffing
• Provide coverage for night and weekend shifts as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
• Active Massachusetts Medical License (Required)
• BLS and ACLS Certifications (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of critical care experience
• Local candidates only (no travel reimbursement)
• Clean credentialing file for ~90-day processing
Working Hours
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM (13 hours)
• Weekend Options:
• 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM (swing shift)
• No Call Required
