Locums Critical Care Medicine | Durango, Colorado IMLC Accepted
A Trauma Level III inpatient ICU in Durango, Colorado is seeking a Critical Care physician for locum tenens coverage. This role includes day rounding, night call coverage, and collaboration with other specialties as needed.
Assignment Details Mar 13 (8:00 a.m.) – Mar 16 (8:00 a.m.) 2 shifts per month ongoing Day coverage: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Night call coverage: 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Practice Setting Inpatient ICU, Trauma Level III Medical ICU coverage with collaboration from other specialties as necessary Admissions required
Patient Volume & Census Adult patient population 10 ICU beds Typical census: 7 patients Average admissions per day: 1–2 Called back at night approximately 1 in every 2–3 shifts for critical admissions
Procedures Required Bronchoscopies Line placements Intubations
Support Staff RN support
Requirements Board Certified Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary – Required Active Colorado license – Highly preferred (IMLC considered with priority) Active DEA – Highly preferred Ability to perform all required procedures
Technology EMR: EPIC EMR training required prior to start (modules + onsite)
