Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Critical Care Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a hospital in Georgia. This is a day shift, no-call position with flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay. Providers will work alongside a supportive team of 7 MDs and 10 APPs, caring for adult ICU patients and performing bread-and-butter critical care procedures.
Job Responsibilities
Perform standard ICU procedures.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and APPs.
Document patient care using Epic EMR.
Qualifications
License: Georgia (IMLC-eligible candidates encouraged to apply).
Certifications: ACLS, DEA.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in critical care.
Ability to start by October 6, 2025 and commit to 7 days/week or minimum 2 weeks/month.
Working Hours
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Flexible scheduling with 2-week minimum coverage option.
Skills
Proficiency in Epic EMR.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Competence in performing standard critical care procedures.
Ability to work independently and handle complex ICU cases.
