Are you a Board-Certified Critical Care Physician seeking a rewarding opportunity with a nationally renowned health system? We are actively recruiting for a dynamic and skilled provider to join an established inpatient team within the prestigious Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, MN. Schedule:

Day Shifts: 7 AM–6 PM or 8 AM–8 PM (In-unit coverage)

Night Shifts: 6 PM–8 AM (On-call or in-house)

Coverage: Both day and night shifts required

Coverage Needed: Prefer full-time, but consistent part-time coverage will be considered for local candidates
Patient & Facility Details:

Patient Volume: ~13 adult/geriatric patients per day

Team Structure:
-
Day: 2 MDs
-
Night: 1 MD
-

Support Team Includes: RN, APP, Respiratory Therapist, PT/OT, Social Work, Case Management, Pharmacy

Hospital Size: 15-bed ICU
-
EMR: Epic
-
Multidisciplinary rounds daily at 9:30 AM with the full care team
Procedures & Skills Required:
-
Thoracentesis
-
Paracentesis
-
Arterial & central line placement
-
Mechanical ventilation management
-
Bronchoscopy (BAL and therapeutic)
-
Intubation
-
ICU code leadership when on-site
Travel & Logistics:
-
Travel, lodging, and rental car provided
Qualifications:
-
Board Certification: Critical Care or Internal Medicine with Critical Care training
-
License: Active MN license required
-
DEA: Required
-
Certifications: BLS and ACLS
-
Experience: 3–5 years preferred (or 2-year Critical Care fellowship)
Credentialing Timeframe:

Estimated at 60–90 days
