Schedule :
- Variable, ideally 50/50 days and nights.
- The day shift starts at 7 AM and ends at 5 PM. That shift goes from Monday through Friday.
- The night shift starts at 5 PM and goes until 7 AM the next day. The night shift starts from Monday night and ends on Friday morning.
- The weekend coverage begins on Friday night at 5 PM and ends on Monday morning at 7 AM.
- There is call from home at night but they are expected to come into the hospital for all patient needs, new admissions and new consults.
- A full-time schedule would be starting on Monday at 7 AM and work the full week of ICU days as above. They would then transition to a full weekend where they work Friday, Saturday and Sunday for 72 hours straight. This is followed by 4 nights from Monday night to Friday morning beginning at 5 PM and ending at 7 AM.
- Hospital is looking for one full time Pulmonologist/ Intensivist for Inpatient ICU coverage.
- Patient Load: 10-15 patients per day, including a mix of ICU patients and Pulm consults
- Procedures Required to perform: Central Line and Intubations
- Procedures Preferred: A-line, thoracentesis, beside bronch
- Does Provider have particular Fellowship? Yes, pulmonology/critical care
- Will you accept experience over Fellowship? No
- Board Status Requirement: Yes, required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Additional Support or Surgical staff?? n/a
- Is the provider working solo or with other providers? Independent
- Are there mid levels and is locum provider responsible for mid levels? No to both
