- Pay: Hourly pay rate of $1.00 (discussed upon application)

- Lead and oversee all medical services within correctional health programs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered care
- Provide clinical oversight for women's health and adult health, ensuring quality standards are met
- Develop and revise policies and procedures in compliance with regulations
- Manage, supervise, and motivate medical staff and advanced practice providers
- Serve as a liaison with law enforcement, hospital partners, and community stakeholders
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics
- Mentor and provide medical education to learners and staff
- Stay current with evolving laws, regulations, and medical practices in correctional health
Required:
- Medical license in Texas
- Minimum of 5+ years of healthcare leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of correctional health practices and regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred:
- Board certification in a relevant specialty
- Experience with correctional or underserved populations
- Ability to develop positive working relationships with external agencies
