Northwest Texas Healthcare System, a 495-bed acute care medical center located in Amarillo, TX, has been providing high quality medical care to the residents of west Texas and the Panhandle since 1924. The hospital is currently recruiting a surgical Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist our Cardiothoracic Surgeon.
Position highlights:
• BC NP or PA
• Active Texas ARNP or PA license
• Hospital Employed position based out of our Cardiac Surgery clinic
• Surgical experience is strongly preferred but will consider other experience

Northwest Texas Healthcare System provides comprehensive acute care and outpatient services to the 500,000+ residents of the Texas Panhandle and surrounding region. With physicians in over 40 specialties, Northwest is known in Texas and throughout the Southwest for cardiac, stroke, emergency, and children’s services. The Heart Hospital at Northwest is the only dedicated, specialty heart hospital in the Panhandle, and an accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI. As a Level III Trauma Center and certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center, the hospital treats over 64,000 patients in its Emergency Department each year. Northwest Children’s Hospital is the Panhandle’s primary Pediatric provider, with nearly all Pediatric subspecialties available through the Hospital and Alliance Regional Health Network.
