A hospital in Michigan is looking for a cardiologist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately three weeks starting in mid-December and ending in late December, with a chance for an extension. The provider will do rounding from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and will be in the clinic until 5 p.m. The provider will be on call week nights from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. and on a 24 hour weekend call schedule. The locum will see around 25 adult and geriatric patients per day and will work on stress tests, oversight for cardiac rehab, rounds on inpatient, medical consults, ECHO reads and cardiac nuclear studies. The facility uses Allscripts and Meditech EHR and will offer training.
