A Pennsylvania-based facility in Pennsylvania is looking for a cardiologist for locum tenens coverage. The provider will work weekdays 8 am - 5 pm on a 1:2 call rotation. The locum tenens physician will see approximately 15 - 20 patients per day working in the office or the hospital doing both inpatient and outpatient work. This location would prefer an interventional cardiologist, but a general cardiologist who can do echo, stress, EKG, nuclear, and TEE would also be a great candidate for this position. This is a newer facility, and it uses the McKesson EMR system to track patient encounters. Candidates must be board certified and have a DEA license to qualify. We will provide assistance with all hospital privileging paperwork, which should take about 30 days to complete. This facility is willing to license a well-qualified candidate. Interested? Give Weatherby a call today and speak with one of our specialty-specific consultants for available dates and details.
