A Maryland clinic is currently seeking a cardiologist who can provide locum tenens coverage for six months, beginning in early August with a potential extension. The provider will be responsible for seeing 12 to 18 adult patients per day and administering care including quick new patient consults, routine check-ups, and nuclear stress test reads. The client needs a locum who can work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and potentially round on inpatients, but rounding is not mandatory. The provider will also be on call providing phone consultations and will use the facility's Practice Fusion EMR system.
