Northern, CALIFORNIA General Cardiology Position – Locums or Perm

Good day. We have a new and exciting cardiology position available in beautiful Northern California. This need is due to one of the providers retiring soon this summer. This position is for general cardiology predominantly with light phone call. No stemi call, or interventional card will be required. Work a 4 or 5 work week Monday through Friday. Position Requirements

• Work 4-5 Days in Clinic / 8-10 Nights Per Month / Light Call Coverage
• Established Primary Care Market / Service Area of 65,000 Patient Lives
• Epic EMR / Pre-Formed Templates / Dragon Dictation Software

• Read Necessary Studies such as;

Nuclear Perfusion,

Holter Monitors,

and Echocardiograms,

Participates in Stress Echos,

Performs Surgery and Cardioversions when Appropriate,

and Covers Inpatient and Emergency Service Call Shifts.

Hospital

• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Offering Level IV Trauma services, along with a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services,

including a state-of-the-art emergency/surgery center, intensive care, diagnostic imaging, obstetrics, and physical therapy.

• Specialized care is offered through the Family Birth Center, Rehabilitation Center, and Family Medicine Clinic. Sutter Lakeside has a primary service area of 65,000 and employs over 300 people.

• 18 medical/surgical beds (all private rooms)
• 4-bed ICU featuring e-ICU in the evenings
• 3 L&D/Post-Partum & Recovery Rooms (338 deliveries in 2012)
• Separate Observation Unit with 8 patient care bays
• Basic Emergency Services with 13 bays, including 2 Trauma Bays
• 19,157 ED visits in 2012 – 3.3% transferred to other health care facilities
• 100% digital imaging including MRI, CT and digital mammography
