Locum - Cardiology - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Cardiology

Join a reputable healthcare facility located in Fairfield, Ohio, dedicated to providing exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients. As part of a collaborative team, you will work within a hospital-based and clinic setting, contributing to the health and well-being of the community. This position offers a schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM, with in-house and beeper call coverage required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide cardiovascular patient care, focusing on electrophysiology.
• Engage in procedures including ablations, pacers, ICDs, and BiVs.
• Manage an average patient load of 4-5 patients per day.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize the Epic electronic medical records system for documentation.
• Participate in call coverage with a ratio of 9 weekends per year.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Electrophysiology (REQUIRED)
• Ohio medical license (Preferred)
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (REQUIRED)
• Active DEA registration (REQUIRED)
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience (REQUIRED)
• Completion of fellowship training (REQUIRED)

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Board Certification in Electrophysiology
• Ohio medical license - preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
