Job Responsibilities

• Provide cardiology services to adult and geriatric patients
• Collaborate effectively with supporting specialties such as Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, ED, and hospitalists
• Maintain detailed case logs of cardiovascular services provided

Qualifications

• MD/DO with a specialty in Cardiology
• Active or eligible for Alaska licensure; AK license and/or IMLC strongly preferred
• Proficient user of EPIC EMR
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Working Hours

• 8-hour shifts
• No on-call requirement
• No rounding or admissions responsibilities

Skills

• Excellent clinical skills in cardiology
• Strong capability to work independently as the sole cardiologist
• Proficient communication skills for collaboration with various medical specialties
