Locums | General Cardiology | Lincoln, NE (NE license highly preferred) Why This Role

  • Hospital coverage only — no clinic
  • BC/BE welcome
  • No cath lab or interventional procedures
  • Defined coverage blocks through April
  • General cardiology rounding + consults
Assignment Details Start/end: November 2026-April 2027 coverage blocks Schedule: Block coverage from 7am-7am; weekday and weekend responsibilities Coverage type: Inpatient rounding/consults + general night call Volume: Not specified Setting: Hospital-based General Cardiology; no clinic Support: Cardiac emergencies/procedures transferred to a separate cardiac hospital EMR: Epic Credentialing: 60-90 days Clinical Details Required scope: General inpatient Cardiology Required scope: Hospital rounding and consults Required scope: TEE General night call required Weekend rounding and consults required No cath lab; cardiac procedures and emergencies requiring intervention are transferred No outpatient clinic responsibilities Requirements Board certified or board eligible in General Cardiology License: NE license highly preferred ACLS and BLS Active DEA Compensation Rate caps apply per facility Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
