- Inpatient Cardiology (Required)
- Non-invasive Cardiology (Required):
- Echocardiography
- TEE (Transesophageal Echo)
- Nuclear Cardiology (Cardiolyte, thallium, etc.)
- Invasive Cardiology - Diagnostic Only (Required):
- PA Catheter Placement (Preferred)
- IABP (Intra Aortic Balloon Pump) Placement (Preferred)
- Cardiac Catheterization (Preferred)
- Heart Biopsy (Preferred)
- Rounding Assigned Patients (up to 15 patients per shift)
- Call Coverage - Beeper Call, 30-minute response time required
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- EMR System: MediTech
- Credentialing: Estimated 30 days; temporary privileges available
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum; Board Certification required
- Certifications: Fellowship required
- Licensure: Licensed in Alabama (AL) or IMLC
