Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Cardiology
Job Details:
Locum Tenens position covering inpatient cardiology servicesSee approximately 15 patients per shift
Inpatient cardiology experience required
Non-invasive cardiology skills required, including echocardiography, transesophageal echo (TEE), and nuclear cardiology (Cardiolyte, thallium, etc.)
Invasive cardiology (diagnostic only) experience required
Preferred skills include PA catheter placement, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) placement, cardiac catheterization, and heart biopsy
Preferred interventional cardiology skills include angioplasty (PTCA), intracoronary stent placement, and atherectomy
Preferred electrophysiology skills include cardiac ablation, permanent pacemaker placement, and implantable cardioverter defibrillator (AICD/ICD) placement
Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)
Fellowship training required
Facility is a Level 3 trauma center
