We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician in Cottonwood, AZ.

Specialty: Physician - Cardiology
Shift:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 1-hour unpaid lunch
• No call
• Ongoing coverage
• Overtime applies after the scheduled shift

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults age 60+

Setting:

• Hospital/Clinic
• Cardiovascular Institute
• General Cardiology practice
• Acute Care Hospital

Responsibilities:

• General Cardiology coverage
• Clinic visits
• Manage approximately 18–24 patients per day
• Provide cardiology care for the adult patient population
• Perform catheterization for the provider's own patients
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical support staff

Required Procedures:

• Cardiac catheterization for the provider's own patients

EMR System: Cerner

Support Staff:

• 2 Physicians in the group
• Medical Assistant
• Patient Care Technician
• Nurse
• PA support for inpatient needs

Days Per Month: Ongoing coverage; full-time coverage preferred, with a minimum of 3 days/week accepted
On-Call/Weekends: No call; no weekend coverage specified

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Active Arizona license or IMLC LOQ
• ACLS and BLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Cerner experience preferred
