Job description
We are seeking a Cardiologist for a locum tenens position in Greensboro, NC. This is an inpatient consultative cardiology opportunity at an acute care hospital. Please see below for more information.

- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Provide care for patients admitted under the health system's heartcare service
Read echocardiograms and nuclear studies performed in the hospital
Serve as second call for the cardiology service
Maintain a manual log of all charges
Adult patient population
No procedures required; temporary pacemakers are covered by the EP on call
Practice independently within an acute care hospital cardiology service
Qualifications
Active North Carolina medical license required
DEA required
ACLS required
BLS required
Epic EMR charting experience required
Working Hours
Friday: 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM (11 hours)
Saturday: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM (14 hours)
Sunday: 5:00 PM - 6:00 AM (13 hours)
Day, night, and weekend coverage
Provider acts as second call
Shifts do not need to be consecutive
