We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Arkansas. This is a high-demand, inpatient-based call coverage assignment with an established cardiovascular team and Epic EMR.

Call Details
- In-house call coverage
- STEMI call coverage required
- Response time:
- In-house call: Within 1 hour
- Emergency/STEMI cases: Within 30 minutes
- Average patients seen per 24-hour period: 15-20
- No patient call-backs
- Admissions generally managed by hospitalist service unless STEMI-related
Requirements
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
- Active Arkansas Medical License required
- ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications
- Clean malpractice history
- Clean NPDB report
Support & Practice Environment
- Established inpatient cardiology service
- Strong clinical support including:
- Registered Nurses
- Medical Assistants
- PA/NP support
- Administrative staff
- No APP supervision required
- No resident or teaching responsibilities
