Locums | General Cardiology | Fort Smith, AR (AR license required)

Two openings with alternating 7-on/7-off blocks
Day shifts only
Long-term coverage through December 2027
Established APP support
Epic EMR
Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
End Date: December 31, 2027
Schedule: 7 days on/7 days off, day shifts only
Coverage Type: Inpatient coverage with in-house call
Call Response Time: 15 minutes
Volume: Approximately 20 patients, 5 admissions, and 10 phone consults
Setting: Inpatient, Level III trauma hospital
Support: 2–3 APPs
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 60 days
Clinical Details
General inpatient cardiology coverage
Cardiology admissions and consults
ICU and STEMI management preferred
Non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology preferred
Invasive, interventional, and electrophysiology skills welcomed but not required
Requirements
Board Certified in Cardiology
Cardiology fellowship completed
Active Arkansas medical license
ACLS
Active DEA
