Electrophysiology Cardiologist – Suffolk & Newport News, VA
- Full-time, permanent position
Position Overview
A growing cardiovascular program in Coastal Virginia is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Electrophysiology Cardiologist to join an established cardiology team serving the Hampton Roads region. This opportunity offers the chance to help build and expand electrophysiology services at a new state-of-the-art EP laboratory while enjoying a collaborative environment, advanced technology, and excellent earning potential.
Qualifications
* MD or DO
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
* Fellowship Training in Cardiac Electrophysiology
* Eligible for Virginia Medical Licensure
* Skilled in:
* Watchman Procedures
* Catheter Ablations
* Cardiac Device Implantation
* Complex Electrophysiology Cases
* New graduates and experienced Electrophysiologists are encouraged to apply

Clinical Responsibilities
* Comprehensive electrophysiology consultations and management
* Catheter ablations
* Watchman procedures
* Pacemaker implantation and management
* ICD implantation and management
* Advanced electrophysiology procedures
* Outpatient and inpatient electrophysiology care
* Longitudinal management of complex arrhythmia patients
Schedule & Call
* Monday–Friday
* Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
* Average volume:
* 20+ Patients Per Day
* Adult and geriatric patient population
* Shared call schedule:
* Approximately 1:6 Weekend Call
* Rotating weekday call coverage
