📝 Description:
Join a well-established cardiology practice in Gettysburg, PA offering a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care. This role includes hospital consults, procedures, and clinic coverage with a structured rotation of one week on call followed by one week in clinic. You’ll work in a supportive environment with experienced staff, manageable patient volumes, and access to modern facilities and EMR (EPIC). Ideal for physicians seeking consistent ongoing coverage with a collaborative team and diverse clinical exposure.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide hospital consults and inpatient cardiology care 🏥
• Perform and interpret TEEs, echocardiograms, and nuclear testing 🔬
• Manage weekly call coverage (Mon 7 AM – Mon 7 AM) ☎️
• Conduct outpatient clinic visits and follow-ups 👨⚕️
• Collaborate with clinical staff and care teams 🤝
Qualifications
• Board Eligible in Cardiology ✅
• Active PA License required 📍
• DEA required 💊
Working Hours
• Clinic Week: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ⏰
• Call Week: Monday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM (24-hour call) ☎️
• Rotation: 1 week clinic + 1 week call 🔄
Skills
• Expertise in cardiac diagnostics and procedures ❤️
• Experience with TEEs, echos, and nuclear studies 📊
• Ability to manage inpatient & outpatient cases efficiently 🔄
