🩺 Specialty: Cardiology
📍 Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
🕰️ Schedule:
- One week: 24-hour hospital call (Monday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM)
- One week: Clinic coverage, Mon–Fri, 8 AM – 5 PM
- Rotation: Alternating weeks, 2 physicians covering call & clinic
👥 Patient Population: Adults with diverse cardiac needs
🏥 Work Setting:
- Hospital consults & inpatient care
- Outpatient clinic weeks with office procedures
- EPIC EMR system
Job Responsibilities
Perform hospital consults, TEE, ECHO, and nuclear testing
Manage inpatient cardiac care during call weeks
Collaborate with medical assistants and other support staff
Ensure continuity of care for patients across hospital and clinic settings
Qualifications
Board Eligible in Cardiology
Active Pennsylvania license
DEA registration
Epic EMR experience preferred
Working Hours
Hospital Call Week: 24-hour coverage from Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
Rotation: Alternating weeks between clinic and call
💡 Notes: During clinic weeks, you’ll see an average of 18–20 patients per day. During call weeks, you’ll manage hospital consults with an average of 20 patients daily.

Average patient load: 18–20 per clinic week; 20 per hospital consults
120-day credentialing window for non-credentialed providers
