required skills and qualifications:
- Board eligible or certified in Cardiology
- Valid medical license in the state of practice
- DEA certification for prescribing controlled substances
- Proficiency in the use of EPIC electronic medical records
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with nuclear testing and advanced cardiac procedures
- Prior experience in an academic or hospital-based setting
- Ability to perform complex cardiac interventions
Preferred education and experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience in cardiology
Other requirements:
- Willingness to obtain or maintain necessary certifications and licenses
- Ability to travel or participate in on-call duties as required
