###Locums | Internal Medicine - Cardiology | Clinic + Call | Palmer, AK Why This Role * Outpatient and inpatient Cardiology coverage with ICU responsibilities * Supportive team with RNs, MAs, PA/NPs, and office staff * Flexible supplemental coverage with combined scheduled hours and beeper call Assignment Details * Start Date: 03/30/2026 * End Date: Ongoing * Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call * Schedule: Outpatient and inpatient coverage; beeper call with 30-minute response, ~50% call ratio * Patients per Day: 15 * Call Details: 50% callback, ~2 phone consults/day, 1 admission per shift * EMR: Cerner/Athena Requirements * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine - Cardiology * Active AK license * ACLS, ABLS, and BLS * Clean history * Comfortable managing both outpatient and ICU cardiology patients Clinical Details * Scope: Comprehensive outpatient and inpatient Cardiology care with non-invasive procedures and ICU management * Typical Procedures: * Echocardiography * Non-invasive cardiology management * Nuclear cardiology (preferred) * Diagnostic inpatient cardiology Compensation * Rates: Facility is accepting bids * Malpractice: Provided * Travel: Reimbursed
