• Actual Coverage Dates: May 25 – May 31, 2026 (must be available for these dates; this is the period of clinical work)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts with 24/7 call coverage during the coverage week
• Practice EMR: Epic, Meditech, Merge MUSE (experience with Epic preferred)

Required Qualifications

• Active Utah physician license (required)
• Board certification in Interventional Cardiology
• Minimum 1 year of interventional cardiology experience (PCI, cardiac catheterization)
• Proficiency in echocardiography, including transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Ability to provide ER/on-call coverage for interventional and general cardiology cases
• Familiarity with Epic, Meditech, and Merge MUSE strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 interventional cardiology call coverage during the specified coverage week (May 25 – May 31, 2026)
• Perform invasive interventional procedures including PCI, stent placement, and diagnostic/therapeutic cardiac catheterization
• Perform and interpret transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms (TTE/TEE)
• Collaborate with a dedicated 3-person call team and work with daily staffing of two cath labs (Mon–Wed) and one lab (Thu–Fri)
• Manage an average procedural volume of approximately 12 patients per day, including emergent cases
• Document care and procedures in Epic/Meditech and use Merge MUSE for imaging documentation
