Position Overview
One of our Partners is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in a high-acuity hospital setting.
This assignment offers consistent weekday scheduling, no call requirements, and exposure to complex cardiac cases, making it ideal for providers seeking stability and high-level procedural work.
Provider Pay Ranking: Top ~10% of cardiac anesthesiology locum roles (2026 market data) $400/hr
Assignment Highlights
- No call required
- 4–5 shifts per week (10-hour shifts)
- Flexible start times (6:15a / 6:30a / 7a)
- Level 1 Trauma Center
- Full-time coverage preferred (will consider 1 week/month)
- High-acuity cardiac case exposure
- EMR: Epic
- Travel reimbursed per policy
- Malpractice insurance covered
- HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission–certified agency
Job Responsibilities
- Provide cardiac anesthesia for complex surgical and procedural cases
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
- Manage perioperative anesthesia care (pre/intra/post)
- Ensure safe and efficient case flow
- Document all care in Epic
