Join Our Team as an Anesthesiology Cardiac Physician

Exciting Opportunity to Deliver Critical Cardiac Care in a Dynamic Hospital Setting. We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiology Cardiac Physician to join our dedicated team, providing expert anesthesia services for cardiac procedures within a busy Level I Trauma hospital. This role offers the chance to work alongside top surgeons and clinicians, serving a diverse patient population across all ages, in a facility committed to excellence in patient-centered care.

Required Skills:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Valid PA medical license
  • ACLS and PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience preferred
  • Proficient in Epic Electronic Medical Record system
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anesthesia protocols
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to variable schedules and diverse patient needs

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center
  • Additional certifications or training in advanced cardiac anesthesia
  • Experience working in a high-volume surgical environment
  • Bilingual abilities are an advantage

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • At least 2 years of specialized experience in cardiac anesthesia
  • Previous work in a hospital setting with complex surgical cases

Other Requirements:
  • Valid Pennsylvania license
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, typically 4-day, 10-hour shifts (e.g., 0615-1645)
  • Credentialing process completed within approximately 90 days (expedited credentialing available with leadership approval)
  • No DEA registration necessary

This position offers competitive hourly pay of $395.39, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
