A Pennsylvania healthcare system is seeking a General Cardiologist for a locum assignment covering clinic, procedures, and call responsibilities. The provider will work in a mixed outpatient and inpatient setting with APP support and access to a cardiac lab.
This opportunity includes scheduled clinic weeks, procedural coverage, and periodic 24-hour call blocks. The role offers a steady patient volume and collaborative cardiology team.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide general cardiology clinic coverage
- Perform and interpret cardiac procedures
- Read nuclear studies and stress tests
- Perform TEE and cardioversions
- Interpret echocardiograms and monitors
- Provide inpatient rounding during call coverage
- Collaborate with APP and cardiology team
- Document encounters using Epic EMR
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC accepted
- DEA required
- Experience in general cardiology preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Working Hours
Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Clinic + Procedures + Call Coverage
Scheduled Coverage:
- May 11–15 (7:30am–4pm)
- May 18–22 (7:30am–4pm)
- May 22 (4pm) – May 26 (5pm) 24hr call
- June 8–12 (7:30am–4:30pm)
- June 15–19 (7:30am–4pm)
- June 19 (4pm) – June 22 (7am) call
- July 20 (7am) – July 30 (5pm) coverage
