### Non-Invasive Cardiologist | Coos Bay, OR Southern Oregon Coast — Largest Hospital on the Southern Oregon Coast ## Position Details * Full-time, permanent position * Setting: Inpatient and outpatient — 127-bed Level III Trauma Center * Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00a–5:00p clinic rotation * Call: Shared echo rotation including weekend reading * Locums-to-permanent candidates accepted * H-1B and J-1 visa candidates accepted ## Practice Overview Seeking a BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a collaborative, growing cardiology service line serving a catchment area of 320,000+: * Opening due to growth and expansion of services * Large primary care and community referral base * Average 10–15 patients with NP/PA support * High caliber, collegial team in a low-stress, engaging environment * Customized orientation adapted to your skillset * Willingness to provide outreach services to nearby critical access hospitals preferred * Clinical responsibilities include evaluation and management, EKG interpretation, echocardiography, cardiac nuclear imaging, stress echocardiography, Holter/event monitor review, cardioversion, and TEE * Collaboration with other medical specialties to meet established standards of care ## Compensation & Benefits * Competitive salary based on experience and training * Potential sign-on bonus — to be discussed at interview * Relocation assistance if applicable * Comprehensive benefits package with 6% employer match * Generous PTO * CME allowance * Licensing and professional fee allowance * Paid interview expenses * Onsite Employee Health and Wellness Clinic * Onsite Child Care and Learning Center ## Required Qualifications * MD or DO — Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine — required * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (Non-Invasive) — required * Fellowship-trained in Cardiology — required * Nuclear and Echo certified — highly preferred * Active Oregon license or willingness to obtain — required * Active DEA — required, must be obtained prior to start, no exemptions * Clean malpractice history/background — required * NPDB Self-Query Report within 30 days — required, no exemptions * Ties to Oregon (family in area or prior Oregon residency) — must be noted at submission ## About the Community – Coos Bay, Oregon * Largest coastal city on the Oregon Coast with a vibrant, welcoming community * Stunning Pacific scenery, beaches, and outdoor recreation * World-class fishing, hiking, kayaking, and dune exploration at Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area * Rich arts and cultural scene with a strong sense of community * Affordable cost of living with a relaxed coastal lifestyle * Access to regional airport with connections to Portland and beyond
