Healthcare United is recruiting an experienced Board Certified Non Invasive Cardiologist to join a well established private cardiology practice on Long Island. This position offers a clear path to partnership as one of the current physician owners plans to retire in the near future, creating a strong long term opportunity for the incoming physician.

Position Highlights

Minimal hospital responsibilities
4 day workweek option available
Monday through Friday schedule
Supportive clinical and administrative staff

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care for adult patients
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions
• Perform and interpret Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology studies
• Manage outpatient cardiology visits and follow up care
• Collaborate with internal medicine physicians and specialty providers
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system
• Participate in shared call responsibilities within the practice

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Strong background in Non Invasive Cardiology
• Experience performing and interpreting Echo and Nuclear diagnostics
• Experienced physicians preferred
• Active or eligible for New York medical license

Working Hours

• Monday through Friday schedule
• 4 day workweek option available
• Primarily outpatient practice
• Minimal inpatient rounding responsibilities
• Shared call schedule within the group
