Job Posting: General Cardiologist
Avita Health System is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Cardiologist to join our established and growing team.
Location:
Various locations within the Avita Health System service area (Galion, Bucyrus, Ontario, Ohio).
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be a board-certified or board-eligible General Cardiologist responsible for providing comprehensive cardiac care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultative, diagnostic, and therapeutic services for a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
- Perform and manage the full scope of device implantations:
- Interpret EKG, Holter, and event monitor data.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency coverage.
- Collaborate effectively with primary care physicians, cardiac surgeons, and other specialists.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Qualifications
Required:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
- Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Ohio medical license.
