PATIENT INFORMATION
- Patient Demographics: Adults
- Case Mix: Bread & Butter Cardiology including inpatient consults and evaluation & management services
FACILITY INFORMATION
- No. of Beds in Department: 628-bed hospital
- Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
- EMR System: Epic
- Office Equipment Available: Pager provided by the HeartCare department
- Specialty Backup Available: Electrophysiology service available for temporary pacemaker coverage

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active NC medical license
- Board: Board Certified in Cardiology
- DEA: Active DEA Certification
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 12 years cardiology experience
- Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Epic EMR
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide inpatient cardiology coverage during scheduled night shifts
- Evaluate and manage adult cardiology patients in the hospital setting
- Provide consultative cardiology services for admitted patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Epic EMR system
