Cardiac Electrophysiology Opportunity – Academic Cardiovascular Program
Location: Kansas City, MO

Position Highlights
* Join a nationally recognized electrophysiology program within a large cardiovascular institute
* Clinic based in Lee’s Summit with procedural work performed across two regional hospitals
* Collaborate within a large multidisciplinary cardiovascular team including cardiothoracic surgery, structural imaging, advanced practice providers, and specialized EP staff
* High procedural volume within an established electrophysiology program
* Opportunity to participate in outcomes research and academic initiatives
* Optional participation in a clinical scholars program offering protected research time
Clinical Scope
* Full spectrum of electrophysiology procedures including:
* Atrial fibrillation ablation (pulsed field and radiofrequency)
* Supraventricular tachycardia ablation
* Premature ventricular contraction ablation
* Typical and atypical atrial flutter ablation
* Wolff-Parkinson-White ablation including cryoablation
* Ventricular tachycardia ablation including epicardial and ethanol techniques
* Advanced device therapies including:
* Pacemakers and cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT)
* Conduction system pacing
* Subcutaneous and extravascular implantable cardioverter defibrillators
* Phrenic nerve stimulation for central sleep apnea
* Cardiac contractility modulation for heart failure
* Participation in advanced structural and left atrial appendage occlusion programs

Candidate Requirements
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
* Completion of an accredited Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship
* Eligible for medical licensure in Missouri and Kansas
