Job description Heart Failure Cardiologist opening in Arkansas Jonesboro, AR Advanced Cardiac Program Jonesboro, Arkansas A physician-led health system in Jonesboro, Arkansas is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist with fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure to join and help lead its expanding cardiovascular program. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape and grow advanced heart failure services within a technologically advanced environment. Position Highlights • Fellowship-trained in Advanced Heart Failure required • Lead heart failure readmission reduction initiatives • Balanced inpatient and outpatient practice • Guide inpatient management of advanced heart failure patients • Participate in Heart Failure and SHOCK inpatient response teams • Active member of the LVAD Committee • LVAD workup and longitudinal management • Advanced heart failure patient evaluations and therapy optimization • Oversight of APRN-led outpatient CHF clinics • Participation in heart failure research initiatives • Assist with ICU management of complex cardiac patients Clinical Scope (Based on Interest & Expertise) • Interpret echocardiography and cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) • Cardiac MRI interpretation (negotiable) • Perform right and left heart catheterizations, if desired • Manage advanced therapies including guideline-directed medical therapy optimization Practice Environment • Comprehensive cardiovascular program with modern facilities • State-of-the-art cath labs and advanced cardiac imaging technology • Dedicated APP support and experienced nursing teams • Predictable scheduling with shared call • Collaborative, quality-driven culture with strong administrative support • Opportunity to shape protocols and program growth • Teaching opportunities available Compensation & Benefits • Competitive base compensation with productivity incentives • Sign-on bonus • Relocation assistance • Comprehensive benefits package including: * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Retirement plan options * CME allowance and paid time off * Malpractice coverage with tail This opportunity is ideal for a cardiologist passionate about advanced heart failure care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and building a high-performing program within a supportive and growth-focused health system.
