Electrophysiology Cardiology Opening – Des Moines, Iowa
Location: Des Moines, IA
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Specialty: Cardiac Electrophysiology
Join a collaborative and growing electrophysiology cardiology team delivering advanced cardiovascular care within one of Iowa’s leading heart programs.
Position Highlights:
Join a team of 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers
Average clinic volume: 11–13 patients per day
Equitable electrophysiology call schedule
Minimal general cardiology call obligation
Schedule structure:
- 2 clinic days per week
- 3 procedure days per week
Procedure case mix includes:
- Device implants
- Lead extractions
- Mapping procedures
- Ablations of all device types
Cardiology fellowship teaching opportunities available
Shared outreach clinic opportunities (2 days per month)
Opportunity to participate in clinical trials
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
Fellowship training in Cardiac Electrophysiology required
Eligible for Iowa medical licensure
Compensation & Benefits:
Initial income guarantee: $716,837
$150,000 recruitment incentive
