An established outpatient cardiology practice in Long Island City, NY is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in a strictly outpatient, in-person setting.
This opportunity offers both full-time and part-time options with a structured weekday schedule. Job Responsibilities
• Conduct consultations, evaluations, and follow-up visits
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform and interpret echocardiography studies
• Interpret vascular diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications and manage preventive cardiac care
• Provide lifestyle and nutrition counseling to patients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/EHR systems
• Collaborate with referring providers to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications
• Completion of Internal Medicine residency – Required
• Completion of Cardiology fellowship – Required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology – Required
• Active or eligible for New York State medical license – Required
• Minimum 3 years of outpatient clinical experience – Required
• Strong proficiency in echocardiography and vascular diagnostics – Required
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems – Required
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care – Required
Working Hours
• 5 days per week (40 hours weekly)
• Outpatient, in-person setting only
• Full-time and part-time options available
• No inpatient responsibilities
