Healthcare United is seeking a Board Certified Non Invasive Cardiologist to join a well established and growing private practice in Huntington, New York. This opportunity offers a fast track to partnership, driven by a planned owner retirement in 2026. The practice is known for its patient centered, family friendly environment and balanced clinical model, allowing physicians to build a long term career while maintaining an excellent quality of life. The role is primarily outpatient focused with minimal inpatient responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
Perform and interpret echocardiograms and nuclear cardiology studies
Manage a balanced mix of cardiology and select primary care patients
Focus primarily on outpatient care with limited hospital rounding
Collaborate with a collegial, experienced cardiology and internal medicine team
Participate in practice leadership and long term growth initiatives
Qualifications
Experience in non invasive cardiology strongly preferred
Proficiency in performing and interpreting ECHO and nuclear diagnostic testing
Minimum of two years post training experience required
No new graduates at this time
Demonstrated leadership ability or interest in future leadership roles
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Working Hours
Primarily outpatient clinical focus
Minimal inpatient responsibilities
No on call duties
Structured first year employment with partnership transition beginning in year two
Skills
Expertise in non invasive cardiology procedures
Ability to manage a varied clinical caseload confidently
Excellent patient communication and relationship building skills
Comfort working within a family oriented, team based private practice
