A Non-Invasive Cardiologist is sought to lead a Heart Failure Program within a well-established and expanding cardiology service in Springfield, Missouri. This leadership-focused opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient heart failure care, non-invasive imaging, and limited inpatient responsibilities, supported by a robust multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.
Practice Overview
* Join a comprehensive cardiology team including:
* Interventional and non-interventional cardiologists
* Electrophysiologists
* Cardiothoracic surgeons
* Vascular surgeons
* Cardiology clinics and heart failure services are conveniently located adjacent to the main hospital campus
* Supported by 17 cardiology advanced practice providers, offering outpatient assistance and 24/7 inpatient coverage
* Practice based at the flagship hospital within a multi-hospital system; no travel required
Clinical Responsibilities
* Lead and support the outpatient Heart Failure Clinic
* Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac imaging, including echocardiography and nuclear cardiology
* Provide weekday inpatient coverage as part of a shared call model
* Call schedule includes 1:8 evenings and weekends, limited to a single hospital
* Collaborate with a high-volume interventional program performing thousands of cath lab procedures annually, including advanced structural heart interventions

Qualifications
* Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology
