Cardiology Site Director / Chief of Cardiology Opening – Dover, New Hampshire
Location: Dover, NH

Seeking an experienced Board Certified Cardiologist to serve as Site Medical Director and Chief of Cardiology in Dover, New Hampshire. This leadership opportunity combines active clinical practice with oversight of cardiology operations, quality, and strategic initiatives across the local campus and affiliated sites.
Position Highlights;
Leadership and clinical role overseeing inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
Administrative leadership responsibility of approximately 0.1–0.3 FTE combined with active clinical practice
Reports to Chief of Cardiology for the Community Division, Regional Medical Director, and ACMO of the local hospital
Responsible for execution of cardiovascular strategic initiatives including quality, safety, efficiency, and patient experience
Oversight of provider performance and clinical operations across all cardiology service lines
Participation in rotational call coverage based on clinical practice
Responsibilities:
Provide visible on-site leadership and oversight of daily cardiology operations
Lead delivery of high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered cardiovascular care
Supervise and provide performance feedback to physicians and advanced practice clinicians
Serve as clinical advisor to executive leadership on operational and strategic issues
Align local practice with health system standards and best practices
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified in Cardiology and relevant subspecialty
Eligible for New Hampshire medical licensure
Minimum of two years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital or large healthcare organization
Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice and quality improvement
Strong communication, collaboration, and operational leadership skills
Advanced business or healthcare administration degree preferred
Experience within a large integrated health system preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary range of $530,000 – $590,000 annually
