Non-Invasive Cardiology opening in Albany, NY Why This Role: St. Peter’s Health Partners is seeking a passionate Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care across Albany and Troy, NY. Position Details: * Deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient cardiology services, including hospital rounding and clinic visits * Participate in one of three employment options: * Weekend rounding only * Traditional hospital/clinic schedule * Hospital-only shift-based role * Provide outpatient care including walk-in clinics 2–3 times per month (for traditional hospital/clinic role) * Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary cardiology team across Albany Associates in Cardiology, St. Peter’s Hospital, and Samaritan Hospital * Respond to on-call duties on a 1:5 weekend rotation with telephone and occasional in-person coverage * Manage average patient load: 20–25 patients per 8-hour clinic day; participate in hospital rounds with team managing 50–60 patients daily * Document care using Epic EMR * Maintain up-to-date certifications and licensing Requirements: * Board Certified in Internal Medicine or truly Board Eligible (must obtain Board Certification within 2 years of hire) * Fellowship-trained in Cardiology (completed prior to start) * NY medical license (or willingness to obtain) * Clean malpractice history * ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA * Willingness to work at multiple locations (Albany and Troy, NY) * Not accepting locums or visa candidates * Open to 2026 new grads; 1099 candidates may be considered * Candidates with lapsed Board Certification will not be accepted Clinical Details: * On-call: 1:5 weekend rotation; hospital rounding 8am–4pm on Saturdays and Sundays; telephone support overnight; rare in-person coverage as needed * Weekend coverage: Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts (12pm–12am), rounding only; hospital rounding every 5th weekend Compensation and Benefits: * Guaranteed base salary: $600,000 per year * Incentives: $75,000 starting bonus, $25,000 retention bonus, $25,000 relocation bonus (if relocating from outside the Capital Region) * Additional compensation: productivity bonuses, quality/performance incentives, extra shift incentives, CME allowance * Benefits include: Health, dental, vision, life insurance; retirement plans; PTO (vacation and sick leave); CME allowance; eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF); short-term and long-term disability; Employee Assistance Program (EAP); special system employee discounts Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, Board Certified, Board Eligible, DEA State Licenses: New York
