Position Overview
One of our Partners in Washington, is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage for a defined coverage gap from March 30 through September 27, 2026. This is a predominantly hospital-based assignment with a blend of inpatient rounding, admissions, and outpatient clinic responsibilities, supported by a manageable 1:6 call rotation.
Provider compensation is structured at Top 10–15% of the national cardiology locum market, based on 2026 provider-pay benchmark data.

Job Responsibilities

Provide inpatient cardiology rounding and admissions
-
Support outpatient cardiology clinic operations
-
Perform cardioversions and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)

Participate in shared call rotation (average 1:6)

Practice independently when scheduled

Document all care in EPIC EMR
Skills & Experience
-
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Cardiology

Active Washington medical license and DEA required

Cardiovascular case activity within the last 24 months

Case logs required for privileging

Comfortable working independently

Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or Red Cross)
