JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical Center in South Carolina is seeking a BC/BE General Cardiologist to join its growing team to meet the increasing demand for cardiovascular services in the community. Competitive compensation along with comprehensive benefits included.
The physician will work closely with a collaborative team of cardiologists, nurse practitioners, and a strong primary care referral base to provide comprehensive cardiac care.
About position:
Primarily outpatient clinical role – with inpatient responsibilities
Office hours are Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Friday 8am-12pm
36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours
Call Schedule: 1:6 rotation for general cardiology call
Average Patient Volume: 18-22 patients per day
Consultative service only – hospitalists manage admissions
Advanced diagnostic capabilities, including Echocardiography, Stress testing, Cardiac CT and MRI, 256-slice CT scanner for advanced imaging
Support from a full cardiac device clinic and a team of dedicated technicians
