Position Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced Cardiology Physician with Echo Board Certification to join its growing cardiovascular team in the New Haven area.
This full-time role includes a mix of outpatient and inpatient cardiology, advanced echocardiography, diagnostic evaluation, and comprehensive disease management. The incoming physician will work in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment with modern cardiac imaging capabilities and strong administrative support.

Essential Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care
Interpret echocardiograms and perform advanced cardiac imaging
Diagnose and manage heart failure, hypertension, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and complex cardiac conditions
Collaborate with primary care, internal medicine, and subspecialty teams for coordinated patient management
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
Participate in quality initiatives, team meetings, and departmental efforts
For leadership candidates: support program development, provider mentoring, and departmental strategic planning
Qualifications
Education: MD or DO from an accredited institution
Licensure: Board Certified in Cardiology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
Certification: Echo Board Certification required
Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship
Experience: Must have prior clinical experience; leadership experience preferred for Chair consideration
