Locums | Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology | Clinic + Call | Seattle, WA (Any state license) Why This Role

  • Inpatient advanced heart failure service
  • Long-term ongoing need through September 2026
  • Work in rotation with established heart failure team
Assignment Details Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours + call Schedule: One week per month, Monday 7a–Monday 7a Daytime Duties: Inpatient rounding 7a–7p Night Call: Beeper call 7p–7a Patient Volume: 10–12 per shift EMR: Epic Response Time: 20 minutes Call Ratio: 1:4 No admissions required Start Date: ASAP Clinical Details Strictly advanced heart failure (no transplant) Critical care–focused role Management of ECMO (VV and VA) Management of Impella Management of durable LVADs Participation in shock program Primary attending responsibilities for ECMO and LVAD Requirements License: No specific state requirement Board Certified Advanced Heart Failure–trained or Critical Care Cardiology–trained ACLS and BLS Comfortable with ECMO, Impella, and LVAD management Credentialing timeframe: 90 days Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
