This role offers a varied practice setting, including inpatient, outpatient, and clinic work, providing support during the recruitment of a second physician. Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients in various settings
  • Perform and interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs)
  • Supervise 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs)
  • Collaborate with other cardiologists and the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

  • Board-Certified in Cardiology
  • Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certified for Advanced Heart Failure
  • ACLS Certification
  • Active VA license
  • Fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and LVAD experience
  • DEA license

Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday, full-time schedule
  • Night and weekend call on a rotating basis

Skills

  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
  • Strong clinical skills in non-invasive cardiology
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Leadership and supervisory experience with healthcare providers
