Cardiology Locums Physician - West Virginia, Inpatient Consults Only
Inpatient Cardiology coverage in Charleston, West Virginia; no call, no ICU, and year-long assignments preferred.
Highlights
- No call required, floor consults only
- 7-on/7-off or Monday-Friday blocks
- 2 weeks/month minimum; 1-year commitment preferred
- Support from NPs and PAs on site
- Credentialing in 60 days, IMLC accepted
Practice Setting
- Level 1 trauma center with 1,000+ beds
- Inpatient-only, consults only; no follow-up or ICU
- Work alongside midlevel support staff
- Cerner EMR
Schedule
- Choose from 7-on/7-off or full weekday blocks
- 8-hour shifts, start at 7a or 8a
- Long-term locums commitment preferred
Cases and Procedures
- 10 consults per day on average
- No ICU coverage or clinic responsibility
- Procedures: Cardiograms, nuclear stress tests
Requirements
- Board Certified in Cardiology
- Active West Virginia license or IMLC LOQ
- BLS and ACLS required
